“Stay still,” Sam repeats. “You’re hurt, Dean, you gotta stay still.”
Dean squints up at him, a flicker of comprehension passing over his face before it’s replaced with pain.
“Sam,” he rasps, jaw clenched, lips moving over red-stained teeth.
“Yeah,” Sam says, “yeah, I’m right here, buddy. Talk to me, man, what hurts?”
“M’leg,” Dean slurs, looking up at Sam with unfocused eyes, “S’mmy, I hurt m’leg.”
Or: Sam and Dean go hunting in the mountains. Things don't go so well.
