    Now, the thing about Hal Jordan, the absolutely, fundamental thing about Hal Jordan was that he was the kind of guy to act first and think later. Call it impulsive, call it a character flaw, call it a whole barrel of good old fashioned fun — whatever. He was the kind of guy to react completely instinctively and let the consequences figure themselves out later. As a generally responsible adult, it all usually worked out for the best. But right then? Right then, in that moment, when faced with an objectively ridiculous situation? His brain wasn’t processing fast enough to stop the complete and utter bullshit that was about to come out of his stupid mouth—

    — “I claim him!” he blurted.

    “A long time ago, I loved someone,” Rio begins, making eye contact with the rest of the coven. Agatha can feel her heart thundering in her chest at an accelerated rate. She already knows where this is going, but she’s frozen in place, unable to stop the words from continuing to come out of Rio’s mouth. “And I had to do something I did not want to do, even though it was my job. And it hurt them. She is my scar.” She feels her face burn at the implication, at the memory of what had ended things between them so abruptly all those years ago. The thoughts are dizzying over the reminder of that betrayal.

     

    Or, Agatha and Rio share an intensely intimate moment after years of longing, grief, and pain have culminated between them (an extension/fix-it of Episode 4, if you will!)
