Summary
Syrax (God of - among other things - Chaos, Madness and Simply Having A Great Time) in a fit of impulse decides to venture into the human world. He's been wanting to, since the dawn of humanity, but as the faith of The Fourteen Flames is dying out, and their powers and influence is waning, he concludes that this might be his last chance. He takes over the body of a dying boy, a second generation Targaryen bastard who's blood has just enough connection to Old Valyria to be acceptable. Unfortunately, becoming human and being a weird little Valyrian, especially in a time in Westeros where Targaryens are scarce, isn't without danger and complications.
Oh, and it turns out having a body is really difficult and not at all intuitive, actually.In other words, the author inserts Syrax as a vessel for absolutely filthy, disgusting fetish content and then maybe also some fix-it stuff, and makes no attempt at redeeming features.

Summary
13 year old Steve Harrington is getting used to being alone. He tells himself he isn't lonely, when his parents leave for long periods of time, and his (ex?)bestfriend Tommy spends all his time with his new girlfriend, Carol. But the summer between middle school and high school, Steve suddenly doesn't feel as alone in his house as he arguably should.
Meanwhile, Eddie Munson, 21 years old, is languishing in Hawkin's trailer park, in a trailer he still shares with his uncle. Once, he dreamed of becoming a rockstar, convinced he and his friends were gonna make it big, and he would make it out of the cesspool of prejudice that is Hawkins. But as all his friends trickled away to college and grew out of their silly, teenage ambitions, while Eddie had to repeat senior year of high school twice, before still dropping out half-way through, well. He became a little disillusioned. Now he just plays guitar to himself, writing songs about the fucked up things happening in his head.
When he catches a glimpse of Steve alone and lost at the grocery store, he follows him home on impulse. He's always been a little obsessive, when something caught his interest.

Summary
Latin; a dead language with no practical applications except perhaps the deciphering of old texts and as a particularly quaint party trick.
Thankfully, as Harry finds out, Latin is not as dead as he was first taught when he decided to learn the language. It wouldn't have mattered anyway, of course; he loved Latin, and would have been proud to know it even had it been as useless as it was pretty. But in the world of Wizards, the world of Magic, Harry realizes his rare talent with words is particularly valuable, and allows him to use magic that no one's ever heard of, that no one's ever seen. But as time goes on, and he becomes more and more entangled in the webs spun by those around him, he starts to realize just how deep the magical rabbit hole goes and how dangerous power like his can be.
All Harry had ever wanted was for the world to make sense.

Hunter laughs and moves it out of Ilya’s reach, knocking it back in a single go. Ilya stares at that perfect jawline as Hunter’s throat bobs in a swallow.
Not to be outdone, Ilya takes Hunter’s still-glistening fingertips and brings them up to his mouth.
Ilya’s tongue has just touched Hunter’s middle finger when Hunter rips his hand away. “Jesus Christ, Rozanov,” he snaps, looking around the bar like a ref is going to pop up with a whistle. But that was straight guys for you. Ilya just laughs.
