Somehow, instead of blowing up in his face, it avalanches into a tentative friendship filled with crime-fighting, Netflix bingeing, top notch take-out, city-saving, shenanigans, weird alien symbiotes, and personal growth.

Everyone dies one day, he was aware of that fact. Honestly, he knew one day he’d meet his end as well. Even if he had to find some kind of inhibitor and finish the job himself.
But, he thought, if either of them were to go first, it would have to be him. He didn’t want to be the one left behind.
