“Why you?”
Foggy’s asking the right question from the wrong perspective. The real question is why him? Why would anyone send Foggy after Daredevil unless they knew? Why would they turn Foggy into this lifeless automaton, so devoid of joy and humanity?
Because Vanessa Fisk has an axe to grind, and she evidently wants to wear it down to nothing.
"Who are you?"
This time, Foggy has questions.
Matt does his best to answer, but they don't get far.

When Matt reaches out to make sure the Shadow’s hair hasn’t fallen over his eyes, his palm brushes the Shadow’s forehead. He pauses.
There are only two men in this world whose faces he’s touched and both are dead. One hadn’t had a brow like this, more of a prominent ridge that Matt never felt on himself as he grew older.
The other was smoother, squarer. Like this one.

“Gay,” Matt says. “I’m not gay.”
“Wow, rub it in,” Sam says, laughing. He starts to move away and Matt reaches up to slide fingers into his hair and pull him into a kiss. Sam returns it for a moment before he pulls back to stub the joint out on the floor, say, “Yeah, not gay at all,” and climb into Matt’s lap.

She pauses, and looks at Foggy. There's concern there, but also longing and desire he's doing his best to hide. They've lived through explosions and Fisk and the spinach dip at Josie's. If this doesn't work out, they'll be all right. (They have to be all right.) She kisses him long and slow, nipping at his bottom lip just to hear his breath catch before she laces their fingers together.
“Let’s go to Matt’s.”
