Inko never talked about her husband, and Izuku never asked, which led him to create a picture of a man with a blank face. All he knew about Hisashi Midoriya is that he had curly hair, hidden freckles, and his mother loved him very much.
The man was mysterious even to his wife, so Izuku respected her decision to only sprinkle facts in here and there.
Izuku closed the door behind him and took hasty steps down the stairs, two at a time.Despite the cooling weather and cheerful holiday that came with it, he felt anything but. After all, it was never a cold day in hell.
School would be the same as usual, holiday or not.

Grian looks him in the eye. Yellow against red. One step away from one another, yet somehow lifetimes apart. Bonds severed, allegiances meant to be abandoned. But Grian’s still here. He’s sitting in the house he built for the two of them, staring at Scar like he’s drowning and he can’t tell whether Scar’s the relentless ocean current or the buoy meant to drag him back to safety. He’s still here, and those yellow eyes flick between Scar’s red ones and his chapped lips.
“It’s okay,” Scar says.

“No, Grian!” Scar exclaims, reaching for his diamond sword. “You know, I was planning on hitting Team BEST first, give ‘em a real good thrashing. Send a message and all that! Can’t mess with ol’ Scar! Not anymore, no sir!” He takes another step toward Grian.
It’s the instinct of green life, Grian knows, that has him backing away slowly. He takes a few tiny steps backwards.
Scar looks at him, something angry and hurt in his gaze, “But I think you’ll make a good first message to the masses. You were the first to take advantage of me, after all.”
or, grian has won third life. choking on his guilt, he jumps. but he isn’t taken to the afterlife. and he seems to be the only one who knows about third life.
