Summary
They're not dating.
Katsuki and Izuku are not actually a couple. They weren't boyfriends, or partners, or hell, even friends. Well, they'd been friends once upon a time, but life has this funny way of ripping people apart. Izuku had learned to accept that all too soon in life.
So they weren't dating. They weren't besties or friends with benefits. Nothing. Actually, they were rivals at the best of times, bitter enemies at their worst. But Katsuki was laying his head in Izuku’s lap on the track field while they ate lunch with their classmates after a half day at school for a holiday.
“You guys are taking this way too seriously.” Hideki grumbled from the grass nearby.

OR: Izuku and Katsuki made a bet. They aren't actually dating. But they can't escape each other's orbit, either. How far will the bet actually go?

Without help, without strength or any escape - what could he do? What point was there in fighting or even praying? Even if something heard him, would it even bother to get off its inhuman ass and actually help him? Probably not. That didn’t stop him from trying. He closed his eyes tightly and called out to the universe, to any entity that might hear him and hopefully be willing to help him.
‘I will give anything, everything; my soul, my life, my body - if someone helps me. Please. I want to fight, but I can’t do it alone. Help me, and you can have my life, my soul, my first born child. I don’t care. Please, help me!’

OR: Izuku calls for help from the universe - and someone or something answers. The offer to escape his horrible reality is easily taken. Izuku is thrust into the afterlife, still alive and human, and must learn what it means to be Soulbound, to one day become a keeper of the afterlife and all the souls that have ever existed.

Summary
Izuku had spent three decades in captivity. A glorified house arrest similar to that of a zoo animal, according to his research on Terran life. He was bound to this god awful ship that could not operate without his presence on board. He could leave, of course, but the ship would die in short order if he was gone for too long.
That would be a catastrophe, to the Terrans, anyway.
Izuku was the last living survivor of the Antimatter War. He was the last living member of the Nefling race - a sentient race of tall, ethereal ‘space elves’ as the Humans called them.

OR: Alien!Izuku has been captive to the human race for 30 years after they eradicated Izuku's home and everyone he loved. He is bound to the last antimatter engine from his home, a ship the humans tore apart to retrofit into their own. What will happen if that engine finally dies?
