What the title says. About 11 years ago (from my perspective; relativity is weird) I was launched into space onboard the Hail Mary to figure out a solution to the Astrophage problem. Now I live on an alien planet I call Erid, in the 40-Eridani system. Yes, I’m actually Ryland Grace. Ask me anything.
Also, can someone please tell me if Eva Stratt is alive? And ideally send me a video of you punching her in the face? Guess that’s a long shot, but it can’t hurt to ask.

As he stared down into the lumpy grey goop that was his evening rations, he contemplated whether it was really worth it.
They’d come a very long way just for Grace to give up and die at the last hurdle, both physically and emotionally. The Tau Ceti system was a long, long way away now, and Grace had faced not one but two highly emotional suicide missions. Three, if you counted the time before he was given a military grade roofie and hucked into space without his memories.
Rocky and Grace make it back to Erid! Huzzah!

This work is somewhat inspired by this fanfic by Deanpala, in which Jon dies at the end of S5 and is sent back into the world of S1 MAG as a moth-monster archivist entity (it's good and quite a bit more fluffy than mine)Series

He is scared instead.
It has only been Tommy and Charlie for a long while now— though really it’s been but a blip in the lifespan of the everything.
Charlie wants to explain it to Tommy— the new part of him wants to show Tommy. But Charlie knows that showing him would not go as well for Tommy as it had for Charlie. They would not accept Tommy the same way they’d accepted Charlie.
“I don’t know,” he says instead of explaining. And he doesn’t, not really, even the everything doesn’t know. Charlie is different. Charlie is the first. Charlie, perhaps, is simply the slow crawling evolution of humanity. Though he does not feel so human anymore. He’s more than that. He’s part of the everything.
Charlie looks at his hands again, studies the crescent shape of the bite that’d started all of this. “Maybe I’m immune.” He isn’t. He knows this. But it gives Tommy something to cling to.
Really interesting mushroom/zombie apocalypse one shot
