Set in London, The Ripper has had vicious attacks in a world where predator and prey are faltering their line of peace. Philippe knew from his studies that only such gruesome murders could be committed by a predator. The claw marks said it all, the gouging lines of teeth and mangled corpses only pushed this further. Being prey, he has enough instinct to survive on his own, until he finds The Ripper himself.

Baptiste told himself, always, and so constantly, that he would never return to Talon again. He'd repeat the same words, over and over again, 'No one can change my mind, not even you'. Yet, he was foolish to find Mauga again.
Like cursed treasure, Baptiste stumbled onto the burly man; although for once, instead of threats, Mauga actually grabbed him again, and returned Baptiste back to their once-happy area to reminiscence on the time again.
