The new drug, “red ice”, is starting to affect CyberLife as a company.
Both customer and stored androids are being destroyed and drained of thirium, and gallons of blue blood have been going missing from CyberLife, putting the company in a tough spot when trying to pay for both the missing technology and the hush money for customers and employees who won't keep their mouths shut.What's worse?
Androids have started to go rogue. Deviating from their code, running away, and having violent outbursts that make it difficult to crack down on the errors and keep their customers' trust.They leave these problems to a specialized prototype android who's been in development since the new drug was known, and an R&D director who also works for Central Detroit Police Department.
…They really shouldn't have.

Summary
Connor was designed to take down deviants, machines who somehow simulated emotions. Then the wings became a problem. This was considered a minor set back, as strange as it was for a software glitch to affect a machine's biocomponents, it was not going to affect to the investigation. Then he started to grow a pair of wings himself.

“You’re not intruding at all.” MJ unlocks her door and steps inside, gesturing with her head for him to follow. “Besides, I’m just repaying you for the flowers.”
“You don’t have to,” Peter insists. “I was just being nice.”
“Then I’m being nice too. Come on. I have too much food and only myself for company.”
She holds up the plastic bag in her hand, where Peter can see two boxes of takeout inside.
“Okay,” Peter agrees, his hunger winning against his common sense. “Thank you for having me.”
Peter has done a good job avoiding Ned and MJ for the past four years. Until they both moved in across the hall and began inviting him for meals and giving him leftovers (suspiciously looking freshly cooked). He really shouldn’t get involved in their lives anymore, but Peter Parker is broke, hungry, and can’t resist the temptation of delicious food and the chance to talk to his friends again.
Or: Healing and loving through awkward leftovers, impromptu lunch hangouts, and maybe admitting Peter’s not quite satisfied with his life as he thought he was.
