Summary
I'm a huge Yellowjackets and Hunger Games fan, so I figured why not write a MistyNat Hunger Games AU?

The odds were always in Misty Quigley's favor, she was from District 3, well educated, her parents were well-paid doctors, and she had made it to seventeen without being reaped. But they were never in Nat Scatorccio's favor, she grew up in a cramped home in an area of District 7 that was anything but affluent. She lost her father when she was fifteen, gained an addiction to tobacco, and had to work in the forests of Seven for hours since her mid teen years. Both of their lives are upturned when their names are picked from the fateful glass bowl, and they're sent into the 72nd Hunger Games.

I tried to keep the characters as similar as they were in canon, but I did have to take some liberties, mainly in the backstory department, because they are obviously in a very different world.Series

Misty pours her heart and soul into trying to save her, even while knowing nothing she does will work. Summary

What happens when they continue to watch the gangs downfall? How will they react to what happens, and how will they feel about the situation after that?
