Summary
Sam was an unclaimed beta, simple as that. He was as physically and mentally recovered as he was going to get, and he thought he may as well help others so he got a job as a councilor at the VA.
Bucky was as overprotective as an omega could get, and had been a prisoner of war for seven years when his alpha Steve saved him. Still, even with both of them stateside and physically safe, they knew they weren’t as mentally healed as they could be.
In the end, they ended up saving each other.
