Summary
The world is divided into heroes and villains, at least in the eyes of the public.
Kyree couldn't agree less with that statement.
It was not the natural order of things. Rather, the world was divided into predator and prey. The strong and the weak. Nature has its rules, afterall. But pro heroes balk at such a thought. In this way, of dueling natures and philosophies, Kyree must navigate the complicated world of Hero Society, and her journey puts her right in the path of the renowned Wing Hero Hawks, who takes particular issue with her viewpoint.
Unfortunately for the two of them, fate has seen to it that there must be an answer, a clear winner of the question.
Which will prevail? A world of justice and heroes, or a world of survival and chaos.

You spend the next five months helping them best you can, though your control over your powers is weak and your fear of Homelander makes you useless in combat. But you get an idea. It's exhausting and frustrating, and you might kill him and yourself as soon as this is over, but you said whatever it takes.

This work was originally called "The One Where Chihiro Comes Back," but I officially abandoned it because I wasn’t satisfied with how the story was unfolding. However, after many years, I decided to revisit it and create something I'm passionate about. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing it.

Chihiro Ogino is a young environmental engineer preparing to embark on her first major project: the restoration of the Nigihayami Kohaku Nushi River. But unbeknownst to her—having no memory of her time in the Spirit World—something is stirring beneath the surface, something ancient and ruthless, and Chihiro is at the heart of it.

Given the age of Chihiro, who is a young woman in this story and no longer a child, the themes will include darker topics and depict a more complex spirit world than the movie, while still striving to preserve and pay homage to the fantastical yet eerie setting of Miyazaki’s original work.
