Summary
After a long, bloody war, Draco Malfoy just wants to do something good with his life for a change, and resolves to become a healer. But magical society refuses to make it easy for him, and an increasingly dramatic series of events—all of them instigated by Harry Potter—get him kicked out of med school, force him to live in exile, and threaten to destroy the new life he’s trying so desperately to build.
But Harry isn’t instigating anything—at least not on purpose. He’s just trying to work up the nerve to ask him out. His efforts don’t appear to be going great.

Chaos: when the present determines the future, but the approximate present does not approximately determine the future. One gene varies, one neuron fires, one butterfly flaps its wings, and Draco Malfoy's life is completely different. Draco has always found a certain comfort in chaos. Perhaps he shouldn't.

Summary
A process is recursive when it defines or contains itself; e.g., the Fibonacci sequence, which determines the next number as the sum of the previous two.
But not all recursive processes are mathematical. Recursion can happen in a temporal context when, for instance, the powerful magical force that is true love drags you back in time so it can create itself, endangering the fate of the Wizarding World—not to mention the very fabric of space and time—along the way.

Summary
"It seems to me that the best relationships, the ones that last, are frequently the ones that are rooted in friendship. You know, one day you look at the person and you see something more than you did the night before. Like a switch has been flicked somewhere. And the person who was just a friend, is suddenly the only person you can imagine yourself with."
In short, Steve and Natasha were best friends. Until that one night, one minuscule decision, a momentary lapse in judgement, changed it all.

Summary
“There are tales, yes, of people undertaking quests with or for the Soul Stone, but they are cautionary ones. There is a reason the Soul Stone, of all the Stones, has remained hidden and unused for so long,” said Thor, disconcertingly solemn. “You know how high the cost was to gain it, to use it. It demands much, and from those who fail to provide what it demands, it takes much. You need only see the Stone’s current guardian to see that.”
From Thor of all people, this was a grave warning. Steve wasn’t about to let it dissuade him though.
“I have to try. I can’t give up on her, Thor. Natasha helped save the whole damn universe, I can’t—she deserves to have someone fight for her. If we could bring all the others back, then we have to—she should be here too.”
Steve had made the mistake of giving up once before. He wouldn’t do it again.
How Steve gets Natasha back, and how they both come back home.

Summary
"She remembers seeing red. Lots and lots of red.
Red that doesn’t quite stand out like roses or red apples in the market. Red that isn’t cherries on top of their shared sundaes. It isn’t red that reminds her of the intensity and burning passion when she is loved, of swollen lips after kisses. It isn’t the brimming confidence that washes over her when he twirls his finger around her locks of red and whispers into her ear how beautiful she is.
Instead, it is red that sends her into a frenzy of panic, her heart lurching into her throat, a gutted feeling of disarray. Blood. Red that flashes across her eyes when she feels surges of pain and anger. Blood. Red that lingers thickly in the air, the smell of metallic tinge that makes her sick in the stomach. Blood. It is red on her hands, on her face, red that she cannot wipe away no matter how much she tries. Not hers. His. Maybe both of theirs."
In other words; Natasha finds herself stuck in a time loop where she has to relive the same day over and over again, but she doesn't realise this until it is too late (to change anything).

Summary
“That’s not Steve.” She’s shaking, pacing back and forth and it’s the first time Tony sees her so distraught. She’s angry, he can tell that much. “I-I don’t know what the hell that is,” her bottom lip trembles, “but that’s not Steve.”
It couldn’t be. He had his eyes – the exact colour of them – and his face, but it wasn’t Steve. It couldn’t be – because she had personally scattered his ashes over the lake next to the underground tower.
So, while the man standing in the lab looked like an exact replica of Steve, she knew it wasn’t him. No matter how quickly her heart fluttered or how hopeful she had managed to be in the few seconds she saw him.
“You’re right,” Tony agrees, and his voice is soft, hesitant, “he’s not. He goes by Nomad, but he’s a Steve, and,” he sighs, almost pleading with her to accept what was happening, “it’s the best we’ve got.”

That is, until Steve learns exactly who Natasha is, and it changes everything between them.

Summary
Draco shifts his head as he turns to look at Scorpius, his cheek touching the pillow. "Did you know that…" He pauses, his throat convulsing, and it sounds audible in the silence, besides Michael's steady, even breathing from the other bedroom.
Scorpius is staring back at him, in wait of something new to learn, a beautiful and intelligent child. He has Draco's mind. He has Draco's eyes and nose and mouth and hair. He is his. All his. All he has of Michael are his wild curls and the green of his eyes, and sometimes he looks into them and imagines that they aren't Michael's, but someone else's.
Draco leans his head closer, biting the quiver out of his lips before he breathes a laden and shuddering exhale, and he whispers, "You are my star in a big black sky."

Summary
Things at Hogwarts would never be never normal, Harry knew that, not even now that Voldemort was gone.
Not when there is a dragon flying around the grounds, a war to get over and a Draco Malfoy that, bloody hell, looks like he stepped out of Harry's dreams.
No, with several secrets to hide from the press and a crush rapidly spiraling out of control, Harry knows he's in for a year that's going to be all but calm.
(*Based on the tumblr rant that has been going on about Draco with sky blue hair, ripped skinny jeans and flower tattoos, mixed with a couple of tropes of my own*)

Summary
“Please, Stiles,” she pleads, and it reminds him so much of when he found her at Eichen House months before that he wants to scream for her. “Please. I love you, and I’m sorry.”
After that, there’s not much Stiles can say. All he can do is kiss her face, hold onto her and tell her he loves her, “so much Lydia, so so much” just the same as he did when he was in the third grade and try to prepare for loss just as he did at the ages of seven and seventeen.
Except no amount of prior experience with bloodshed and death can prepare him for when Lydia gives one last violent shudder against his neck.
“Be good,” she murmurs. “For me– please. You’re the one who always figures it out.”
—
Lydia Martin dies on a Tuesday night in January, wrapped in Stiles Stilinski’s arms while telling him she’s loved him all along.
And this is the fallout.
