By Thursday evening, Katsuki could tell he was getting sick.
It was after sunset, and he was still at his agency, doing paperwork in his office. Even though it was boring, there was a kind of satisfaction in making sure everything was filled out absolutely correct, on time, and sent to the right place. And it was part of his hero career, so he couldn't hate it.
Even so, Katsuki was having trouble concentrating tonight. He felt tired, like it was three hours later than it was, and his head hurt. He hadn't been in any fights this week or done anything particularly grueling. The only abnormality he could think of was Chihaya.
Because Katsuki wasn't an idiot, he set his paperwork aside early. He pulled up his email and messaged his secretary to say he'd be out sick tomorrow. Then he went home.

"Don't tell me you believed that," Shouto said, pointing at Iida's letter. He could feel the heat creeping into his tone, into his movements, but there wasn't anything he could do to stop it. "Midoriya wouldn't write that. We're his friends. If all those things were true, he would have told us by now."
Iida stared. His jaw tensed, relaxed again. Then, slowly, he said, "Todoroki—has Midoriya ever asked you for help?"
"Yes," Shouto snapped, "With Stain."
"That was for me," Iida said, cautious, "He asked you for help because I was in trouble. Has he ever done that for himself?"

“It’s not like that,” Kaisato said quickly, waving her hands as if to wipe away the words. “I mean—I guess it is time travel—but it’s really limited.”
“How so?” Izuku blurted, and immediately regretted it. This probably wasn’t the time to get distracted by a cool quirk.
“I can only pull someone from the future if I can touch them, and only for twenty minutes or so” Kaisato explained, counting out the limitations on her fingers, “And after the quirk wears off, everyone forgets what happened.”
