“My darling girl, what is this song you have written?” Gwi-Ma chuckled. “It’s quite pointed, don’t you think? If I didn’t know any better, I would think you were . . . mocking me.”
Gwi-Ma’s purple flames grew to their highest heights, flooding his surroundings with a blast of scorching heat that would’ve melted the skin off of normal humans.
“But you wouldn’t, would you, my sweet pet?” Gwi-Ma intoned angrily.
(aka: in an au where the huntrix are the demons instead of the hunters, rumi is both the daughter and the prisoner of the demon king)

“A girl visited me earlier today and said she was new in town,” Greg said. “Steven already became fast friends with her and I bet you would like her too.”
“Uh huh, sure,” Peridot said.
“No, really,” Greg continued. “She was this cute, artsy girl who wore lots of dangly jewelry and the first thing I thought of when I saw her was ‘I think she’s going to be Peridot’s new best friend.’”
“I already have a best friend, thanks,” was all Peridot said in response.

Summary
“What is the meaning of this, Vincent?” Alastor said with a scowl as he entered the cabin (which Vincent had unfortunately begun calling their cabin as of late).
White flower petals were strewn all over the floor and instead of the typical summoning ritual ingredients, there were now candles and lace doilies atop Alastor’s altar. Vincent was standing in front of the altar, wearing one of his evening party suits and clearly hiding something behind his back.
(aka: vincent attempts to give alastor a wedding ceremony. alastor agrees to it, but he also has religious trauma flashbacks.)

Summary
Light-bringing Apollo, the sun god-king, lounged on his gold throne woven with fragile bronze laurel branches in his hall of warped windows and vine writhed mirrors. Far-seeing Apollo, sun god-king, was so very, very, very, time infinite bored.
Pleasure-seeking Dionysus rubbed into the sucking soil and thrust at the sky. The sky gave him no pleasure, which was fickle of the sky, but there it was. Goat-slaying Dionysus was bored. Bored. Bored. Bored. Random number. Bored.
Suffice to say order-wielding Apollo in his clock work court of hours and seasons and years suffered from ennui. Suffice to say, chaos-creating Dionysus in his fields and vines and drunken debauch suffered from the same.
The story of how some new celebration came into the world.
