Summary
Takes place starting at episode 2 at the Olympics.
Shane meets a handsome stranger at the Olympics and starts dating him, while Ilya is ignoring him for 6 months.
However, the real reason Ilya isn’t texting him is because he broke his phone and no longer has his number.
Ilya keeps unknowingly making it worse by trying to get a rise out of Shane so that he will talk to him.
Ilya is heartbroken that Shane has found someone else and makes plans to get Shane back.
Shane doesn't let Ilya in but then..Ilya has a plan to get Shane alone and it works.There's an engagement and a visit to Russia that changes everything.
OR: At Sochi, Shane meets a handsome man and an ends up accidentally engaged. Ilya was not ignoring him after Sochi but smashed his phone and couldn’t contact him. Ilya is down bad and locked into getting his man back along with a Canadian Citizenship.

Set at the 2018 Olympics, because it makes the most sense for Shane and Ilya’s timeline. Plus I dont want my sweet baby Angel Ilya living in the US in 2026. So it’s set back then, but taking everything that has happened with Team USA/White House in 2026.

“You’re what?” Ilya demanded. “Finish the sentence.”
“I’m humping a pillow.” The admission hung heavy in the air, and for a split second, Ilya lost all ability to speak.
Shane Hollander wakes up with a vagina and can't get himself off. He calls the one person who can help him.

Cliff Marleau suddenly materialises at the table next to Ilya. The girl he was with before is still on the floor, now dancing with some other girls, probably the friends she came here with. “You’re actually here?” He asks, disbelieving.
“Hello, Ilya. How are you, Ilya. It’s so nice to see you, Ilya.” Ilya responds, sarcasm dripping off every word, sliding his phone back into his pocket.
“Yeah, yeah, sure. But like, you’re here.” Marleau dismisses him with a wave of his hand, leaning over him to reach for one of the beers. “Thought for sure you’d be with Jane, man.”
In Ilya’s ear, Shane moans, all drawn out and breathy. “Fuck, Ilya.”
Ilya smirks at Marleau. “Jane is busy at the moment, Marly.”
OR:
Ilya is out celebrating a win and he keeps coming up with reasons to stay later and later. The team finds this unusual cause he’d usually be racing to leave to meet up with Montreal Girl™.
The team’s a little worried thinking Ilya somehow fumbled Montreal Girl™ and agreed to go along with his ideas.
Meanwhile, Shane’s tied up on the bed with a vibrating buttplug that Ilya’s controlling on his phone.

Rozanov has been miserable ever since the last time they played Montreal, and Marleau's smart enough to put two and two together. This reeks of girlfriend trouble.
