“Jesus Christ.” Keith shakes his head. “You are unbelievable.”
Lance slumps back in his chair, fighting the urge to roll his eyes. “Yeah, well, you’re not all that great either.”
“I should kick you out.”
Lance tenses a bit at that, eyes narrowing. “You wouldn’t.” A gamble. Keith probably, actually would.
Keith doesn’t dignify him with a response, instead turning back to his stupid book. After waiting a few moments for something else to happen—namely, getting kicked out—Lance lets himself relax. Nothing happens, and he knows he’s won their little spat, even if Keith won’t ever admit it. He bites back a self-satisfied smirk and redirects the conversation to something more civil.
“What’re you reading?”

Lance snickered.
Keith leapt over the couch to confront Lance, “It’s not funny.”
Lance rolled his eyes with a bright smile, “you’re right,” he conceded, his hip cocked and his arms crossed as a smirk painted onto his face, “it’s hilarious.”
“Why you-“ Keith took a single step forward and Lance surged forward and wrapped him into a tight hug lifting him straight off the floor.
“Lance!” He yelped, Lance had his arms wrapped around his middle while trapping his arms flush against his sides. He could feel his face heating up and he prayed to all that is holy Lance didn’t notice.
“You are the farthest thing from a lone wolf,” he smiled and he swayed a little, Keith’s feet swinging helplessly and Lance hugged him, “you’re practically a kitten.”
Lance was going to be the death of him, he was holding him at least a foot off the ground and Keith’s head felt fuzzy and he was having a hard time thinking, “Lance put me down.” He was going for firm, but his voice came out more like a whine and he could hear chuckles around the room.
Coran, somewhere behind him, said, “we’ll workshop it then.”

At this new discovery, and a confirmation from her Dad, one thing leads to another, and she devises a plan to Parent Trap her Dad with his long lost best friend, desperate to give both of them their happy ending after 35 years of no contact. Will Byers is convinced Mike hates him, but Maddy is there to show him he's wrong.
