It was always out–going, popular, athletic, good–looking, straight men that had the metalhead feeling weak in the knees and unable to focus. It had been this way for as long as Gareth could remember. Thankfully, he had always been a shy, introverted kid, so none of these silly little crushes were ever revealed to anyone, even before Gareth had been old enough to realize that being a boy that liked other boys wasn't acceptable or safe to be.
