Summary
Once the last of the Sixth House and the Tribe Unmourned threatened Vvardenfell, all of Morrowind, and by extension the entire Empire with certain doom until the reincarnation of a god ended the threat. 5 years later, the gates of Oblivion opened. The Daedric Prince Mehrunes Dagon threatened the destruction and ruin of the Empire if not all of Tamriel itself. Until a champion arose and held on long enough for Martin, last of the Septim bloodline, to kick Dagon back to Oblivion at the price of his own life. This is not the sum total of either tale, nor the last time some of those involved appeared in history. 200 years went by. No new heroes appeared, but neither did any dire threats. Until now. The return of the dragons that once ruled Skyrim long before the Empire was founded is nigh. The Empire itself is shattered and exhausted after a devastating conflict. And Skyrim is at war with itself. The dragons’ leader is Alduin, son of Akatosh the dragon god of time. Akatosh is, apparently, an incorrigible schemer nearly on par with the Daedric Princes known for it. A cart rattles into Skyrim from the Cyrodill border. Multiple people sit inside. The stage is set. Let the tale of the Last Dragonborn and their companions begin.
