“So?”
“Shark hates that firefighter.”
“Does he?” She squints at them.
“They're always arguing. Look, look!” He says, pointing in their direction.
“Firefighter Buckley,” Doctor Kinard says, eyebrow raised in that bitchy way he seems to master.
“Doctor Kinard,” the other man says with an eye roll.

Summary
There’s a near constant itch in his fingertips, a desperation clawing at his skin to get a hold of the pills and to finally make it stop. To put an end to the voices in his head, the ones screaming at him every time he so much as breathes.
For the first time in his life, Buck finally felt like he’d come to terms with who he was as a person. He was a baker, an uncle, and on his way to becoming a frequent knitter. He was happy.
But he’s lost all of it, and he no longer recognizes the person he sees in the mirror.
Buck hates the new version of himself.
