    When Ilya gets into a car accident on his way back from the cottage and wakes up having lost the last half year of his memories, Shane’s world crumbles.
    He keeps telling himself that Ilya will remember, that everything will go back to how it was before, but it’s hard to keep holding on to that hope when Ilya looks at him with so much distrust and hurt in his eyes.

    Having just spent two wonderful weeks at Shane’s cottage, Ilya’s newfound bliss is cut short when he wakes up in a hospital and the last thing he remembers is playing a game against the Metros back in winter.
    Stuck in his head with his most recent memories following shortly after the tuna melt disaster, he has a hard time figuring out why Shane Hollander keeps showing up at his hospital room. It’s not like they’re even on speaking terms, right?

    After being outed and tripping on game 7, Shane wakes up in a hotel in Saskatchewan - confused and in a body that doesn’t fit him quite right, and his parents sleeping in the bed next to him.

    Despite confusion, he decides to do what he does best - go for a run and make a plan while he does it.

    1. It seems to be 2008, the exact day he met Ilya all those years ago
    2. He, possibly, has a chance to fall in love all over again
    3. There is no way in hell that he’ll spend another decade pining and yearning at long distance
    4. He has no clue how he is going to do it - but he’ll make sure Ilya Rozanov will be his, sooner rather than later this time around

    Shane returns to the hotel room a bit more with it, and now with a plan. To woo Ilya Rozanov at first sight and to, this time, win the prospect cup. However, a certain russian shaped wrench will be thrown in Shane’s thought out plans.
