Summary
“Like this?” is his line, but it has none of the confidence the character demands.
Jiwoong responds by leaning in, his hand firmly gripping Taerae’s waist and pulling him flush against him. He waits for a rejection.
He doesn’t get one.
Jiwoong’s eyes close as his lips press against the thin mask Taerae has on, finding his lips by touch alone. His own are slightly chapped and the skin pulls at the fibers of the face covering. Jiwoong moves slowly, lets the moment drag out so that when he looks back on it, he can relive it even a second longer.
Just as he’s about to reach up and pull down his mask, Jiwoong pulls away. His voice is but a whisper when he speaks. It’s not in the script, but neither was the female lead’s initiative.
“Like that.”
Jiwoong finds himself in a habit of listening to the mysterious DJ on the radio. Meanwhile, Taerae struggles with the things that life throws at him.

Summary
Something changed inside Gyuvin since that day. He found himself looking at Ricky more, paying attention to his responses, even asking other staff about Ricky's dates, framing it as a work-related interest. Every night he had to watch Ricky name someone that wasn't him and it shouldn't have bothered him because it didn't bother him before but now, when he watched Jiwoong and Ricky interact, watched them smile and laugh together, it wasn't entertainment — it was the live-action of Gyuvin's heart ripping itself apart.
He knew he wasn't a choice. He wasn't a part of the cast and that one “date" was just a stint — a temporary thing. Ricky couldn't choose him even if he wanted to and Gyuvin had to tell himself that every time he recorded Ricky's response, never seeing Gyuvin and always another name.
Or: Shen Ricky goes on a dating show. Maknae writer Kim Gyuvin is not an option, though Ricky has never been one to limit himself to a set of choices.

"You still have time to get married, Taerae." The older man says with a laugh, endeared at how the blond's mind works.
"Sure, I've got time, plenty, practically four years, but," Taerae pauses, letting out a long sigh. "After all the failed relationships, it makes me think…" Then he goes quiet, gaze far away.
Jiwoong nudges him softly, prompting him to continue. "Makes you think…?"
Taerae lets out a sigh, deeper than he had intended to.
"Just… Makes me think about who would even want to marry me?"
His words come out whispered, barely audible against the live jazz band. Silence forms between them, and Taerae instantly regrets opening his mouth and being stupidly vulnerable and honest and—
"I would."
Taerae stops. The world stops. The carousel stops.
"I would marry you, Taerae. I would be lucky to be the one who gets to spend the rest of my life with you."
Jiwoong's words take his breath away, more than the twinkling sights of Las Vegas ever did.
Jiwoong and Taerae get married in Vegas.
