Summary
Naruto's been having strange dreams since Mizuki tried to kill him, and let him in on the worst kept secret in the village. Every night there's been more of this amazing island village, with it's towering architecture, and smiling citizens. But the night before the Nami no Kuni mission, the dream changes. In his dream, the village falls. Things are changing, and Naruto isn't sure how he feels about it. Things only get worse when their client lets them know too late about an extra member of their party, and Naruto has a sneaking suspicion that the strange woman accompanying them to Wave, has something to do with that change.
This story has elements of many different fics, most notably the works of blackkat. If you recognize anything specific, it's almost certainly not my original content.

“Just, the 118. Like, okay, that first week when Chim was putting more bubble wrap around me than even mom, I didn’t really notice it. Buck kept trying to include me in stuff and show me things and I just didn’t realize that no one else was actually helping him with those things. Or even…well, paying attention to him. And Chim…he’s like constantly making comments about Buck.”
