"Surely, Yan-zongzhu, you do not mean that," Shen Qiao responded, his voice shaking and disbelieving.
Was Yan Wushi finally getting his husband to see things his way?
"Yes, I do," Yan Wushi pressed on, sensing a breakthrough. "In fact, think for yourself: unless there is something wrong with the child, why would a parent abandon—"
