“Todo is very important to me,” Yuuji said sternly. “As strange as he can seem sometimes, he’s kind and very dear to me, so I need you to make an effort.”
Choso stared into the bottom of his steaming hot cup of tea, his nose scrunched in annoyance at even the thought of having to make an effort with Todo of all people.
“Can you do that, Choso?”
Once again a losing position - Choso couldn’t refuse. The universe was against him.
“...Fine.”
“You don’t sound so sure…”
“I can do it. I said I can do it.”
That’s all it took for Yuuji to light up again, grabbing his phone out of his pocket enthusiastically.
“Great! Tomorrow, 2PM, the Starbucks by the school - Todo will be waiting!” He grinned.
“Wait, hold on, you didn’t-”
“Yap, yap, yap. We had a deal!” Yuuji had already managed to walz over to the couch and switch the TV on. “Come on now, I gotta find out who Lorelai will pick or I will literally rip all my hair out from the stress.”
Choso sighed in defeat and shuffled over to the couch like a sad slug.
That’d be future Choso’s problem.
