Summary
""Something to hopefully ease the pain.." Qifrey whispers as he runs one hand along Olruggio's cheek and sweeps the hair from his friend's forehead with the other. "Are you with the living?" He teases.
Olruggio's body seems very much to protest the action, but with great effort he forces his eyes open, meeting Qifrey's own.
All his body's prior hesitance is gone in an instant as Olruggio's eyes open wide as saucers. His face breaks out into a faint scarlet, warm to the touch and reaching the tips of his ears.
"Whooa!" Olruggio slurs, reaching upwards to hold Qifrey's face with both hands. "You're beautifulll!"
Oh dear."

Summary
When Olruggio finds out he is left pregnant from a drunken night with his best friend, he decides the best course of action is honesty. Not only about his pregnancy but also his feelings, which had been brewing in the back of his mind ever since he'd met Qifrey.
Things don't go as planned, however, and it leaves the man both crushed and struggling with complications piling up. He sets out to solve them all on his own, hoping that nobody will notice the changes in his body and behaviour.

He was a quiet and angsty child, burdened with too much weight that the world cruelly threw at him from too young of an age. The thought leaves him with a hiss, not through mouth but through skin, the high-pitched screech of boiling water meeting flesh, followed by his own wail as his arm erupts in pain.
