-Numbly, he'd joined Cohmac, Orla, the busdriver, his trainee and their rock/coworker to go back with some specialist because of the plants, known as Drengir, a few days later. On the way back, he'd told Cohmac, the somewhat strange elderly librarian/historian who'd been along and whom he'd grown quite fond of and close with during the course of their adventure, of his mother's fate. He'd expected condolences, a hug, comforting words. He'd gotten the older man looking absolutely shaken, embracing him tightly and comforting Reath as though he were a child - which hadn't felt all too bad at all -, and, most to his shock, offering for him to stay with him until he knew how to continue.
So, after a visit to his mother's place to pick up a few of his things and a trainride to the city, here he was, standing in this almost stranger's livingroom, awkwardly clutching a suitcase in either hand.

The Rum Tum Tugger was acting weird. Though that was in a way his resting state, right now Mistoffelees couldn't help but worry about his mate. He was so winded from the little running they'd done, and one hand kept shooting up to his chest to rub it, as if trying to soothe pain. As they shared the rat on an old chair nearby, he couldn't help but notice Tugger's breaths didn't calm down, and all throughout their breakfast he was silently gasping for air.
"Are you really alright?" He asked again, fixing his mate with a concerned stare.
Tugger, though his face was in a pained grimace, nodded: "I'm okay." He averted his eyes. "Tired."

Summary
Up ahead, closer to the middle of the camp, the dark of the night was broken by a beam of pure, red light, reflected a million times in the falling rain. Kaan subtly moved his hand to his own weapon, but kept a nonplussed expression on his face.
"What? Are you going to kill me?" he called out to his Apprentice, casual smile on his lips.
Vulta's face remained hard, as far as Kaan could tell from the distance. The Alcedian still had one of his sabers activated and held next to him, tip pointing toward the ground. The rain sizzled as it met the hot blade, filling the air around him with steam.
"Not if I don't have to."

Summary

Arthur sighed, drawing all the attention on him. He tried to mend some dark curls falling over his face to look as dignified as possible. He didn't look towards his brother in particular, but to an unrelated point where the Irish woman that Kay had met in the Gardens stood. It worked, as he seemed at least better than when taking such a decission, and tended his hand towards Morgan LeFay. She took it without a doubt, still sporting the same fake smile. Such a smile gave even Kay the chills and almost tried to scream his brother to take advantage, to get rid of her at last, but Sir Gawain and Sir Galahad were quick enough to sit him on the first chair that was available. Arthur finally spoke: "I accept your conditions, sister. I will give you the knight to come second in a dice game."
