Ghost is about to lose his mind. He cannot identify what's confusing off about Soap. Even worse, he feels his heartbeat picking up every time he catches Soap's gaze on him, the constant blush in his vicinity not even throwing him off anymore with how much he has get used to it.

"I don't want your fucking pity," Ghost spits.
"It's not pity, it's empathy," John growls, straightening up instinctively, his heart hammering in his chest at the familiar surge of anger flaring up. He won't give him the validation of lashing out in his face. He leans to the side and flicks the switch of the lamp next to the couch. Ghost hisses and squints his eyes when the sudden light hits his face unexpectedly.
"What do you want, then?", he continues with a controlled calm to his voice, "Changed your mind? I can help you building your connection with your pelt again, you know that."
Ghost stays silent, his eyes flaring with anger and frustration while he stares John down viciously. He hasn't left the room yet, though. John might still have an angle, then.
"We wouldn't do it too fast. We can stop anytime," John pleads, "You can trust me. It's all under your control, Simon."

"Sure. I'm gonna–" Simon gets up, pulling off his hoodie in a fluid motion. He lets it sink down on the chair behind him, and turns back to find Johnny suddenly looking away very pointedly before he can take off his T-shirt.
"Really?", Simon snorts with amusement, "that's really cute, but you do realise you need to look at me the whole time you're tattooing, right?"
"Haud yer weesht!," Johnny blurts back indignantly, turning around to scowl at thim, "not wannae make ye uncomfortable is all. Staring at customers while they undress isnae the fine gentleman way, thank ye very much."
"Sure," Simon huffs, pulling his shirt off and feeling an addicting rush of satisfaction at the way Johnny's face derails slightly.
Simon wants to get a special tattoo and falls head-over-heels for the handsome tattoo artist, who seems to have some more things in common with him than he thought...

Price smiles, and reaches out to pet though the thick ruff of fur between Ghost's powerful shoulders. "Tomorrow," he promises, "you can feast."
Ghost's reptilian tongue flicks out, once. "And the day after?"
"Soon, Simon, I swear," Price tells him. "Once I have the throne, you will have all the attentive audiences and fresh meat you can stand."
Neither Soap nor Gaz know how Ghost came to be in Price's service. It is one of those things that defies an origin story - where Price was, there was Ghost. Where Price went, Ghost followed. Whatever magic binds them goes deeper than skin, than bone.
And in all the time Price has known him, Ghost's hunger is endless. His devotion, tireless.
Soap and Gaz slumber on, unaware, as Ghost lifts his reptilian head and licks, delicately, over Price's lips. "You'll have your throne," he whispers, rough and ardent, breathless when Price tilts his head and kisses one of his large, exposed fangs.
"Rest, love," Price commands, and Ghost obediently lowers his heads, and closes his eyes.
