Jack looks over at him as Robby looks down, and neither stop their absent kneading of him where they’ve got their hands on him — Jack still focusing on his feet, and Robby pressing his fingers into Dennis’ hip a little like he’s slime poking him. It’s weird. Fun, but weird.
“Hmm?” “What’s up?”
Dennis doesn’t make eye contact with either of them, instead tilting his head back so he can stare up at the ceiling, twisting his fingers absently together.
