Summary
Draco Aubinet didn't know who his parents were, he had never known. As far back as he could remember, the only name he knew was "Aubinet," the name he had been given, which seemed to carry a history of shame and abandonment. He didn’t know where he came from or why he was there; he only knew that he was different. And more importantly, he knew that no one wanted to know.
In the orphanage's hallways, Draco was treated like a shadow, someone who should not be noticed. Even without fully understanding why, Draco grew up with the feeling of being a mistake, a flaw that no one wanted to deal with.
For years, he was content with being invisible, the only way to protect his heart from the pain. He had no friends and didn't expect to have any. His world was the orphanage, and his only companion was loneliness. He believed that was all he deserved. A boy with no past, no roots. The name "Aubinet" was all he knew of himself, and he believed that, like that name, he too was insignificant.
But all of that changed when Regulus Black appeared.

Summary
Once there was a bird on a branch, all alone. He was so very lonely. He wanted a companion. Seasons passed, and soon another bird came to join him.
They chirped happily in the mornings and slept together in the evenings, but one day, the other bird flew away.
He was alone again. Night and day, day and night, the bird mourned, hoping to hear the sweet chirps of the one that once accompanied him.
Seasons passed, the bird never left. He sat there, waiting. And waiting. And waiting.
Then the other bird came back, and apologized for taking so long to return.
Now two birds are perched on a branch, forever keeping each other company.

“Can I tell you a secret?” he almost whispered and Tony nodded.
“Of course, kiddo.” he smiled and ruffled his hair, earning a small smile from the boy before it vanished as quick as it came.
“I don’t like my babysitter very much,” he admitted in a small voice and Tony furrowed his brows in confusion.
“Why’s that?”

Peter Parker remembers it all.
Remembers aliens, Titan, Thanos, the stones.
Remembers every atom in his body splitting, and the agony that followed.
Remembers looking up at his mentor's grief-stricken eyes and muttering a small 'I'm sorry' before he was one with the wind.
He was gone.
But now he has the chance to take that all back.
Today, Peter Parker can make a difference. -

Summary
“N’drew? Are you there?” Neil’s voice came out slurred and weak and Andrew immediately felt himself stiffen and go on alert. Because it was 10pm. And Neil didn’t drink. And Neil didn’t party.
“I’m here,” Andrew said instantly. Something felt wrong. Something was wrong.
Neil’s breathing was labored on the other end of the line and his words came out slow and stilted as he spoke, “I’m- Something’s wrong with me. Can you pick me up?”
