    Izuku Midoriya disagrees.
    The copied Quirks aren't what make Copy incredible.
    Monoma is.
    Twenty-seven pages of Quirk analysis, several arguments, a few suspiciously date-shaped outings and one ongoing war over Class 1-A later, Monoma begins to realise that Midoriya isn't interested in what he can borrow from somebody else.
    He's interested in everything that's already Neito's.

    Minoru Mineta likes girls.
    He's always liked girls.
    Then one afternoon he catches himself staring at Midoriya's arms, gets flustered by a compliment, and has one deeply inconvenient revelation.
    Oh no.
    Ignoring it doesn't work. Neither does avoiding Midoriya. Especially when training sessions turn into ramen, ramen starts feeling suspiciously like dates, and Mineta discovers that his feelings might not be nearly as one-sided as he assumed.
    Apparently, Mineta likes Izuku Midoriya.
    And, somehow, Izuku Midoriya likes him too.
    Oh no.
    ...Actually?
    Maybe not.

    “It was a kid,” Yagi gasped out. He had his hand balled up into a fist and the fist pressed to his lips, as if to remind himself that he could not start screaming. “Or. Young person, maybe 20. Homeless, I think. Activated their Quirk on reflex and then ran. The kids—” Here, he pressed his fist harder to his mouth, sucked in a wheezing breath, as if the air itself was pushing down something with physical weight. “The kids—”

    “Scattered immediately,” Aizawa finished for him, and Yagi managed a nod.

    Yagi’s eyes were so dilated that the blue was almost invisible. He shook violently. He looked like a scarecrow in a windstorm.

    Someone activated a Fear-Inducer Quirk so powerful that it reduced All Might to this— of course Aizawa’s class had bolted.
