Stabbed in the back by one of her best friends and while forgiving the act she would forever be scarred by the wound of the betrayal.
Forced to witness the death of a schoolmate who has been nothing but kind to her, by the very hand of the man who’s treachery led to murder of her parents.
As the School year ends again she would be tossed back to her “relatives” who never gave a damn about her, banned from being with her godfather who was forced to be on the run for a crime he didn’t commit so yes she was so very tired.
Only to be kidnapped by some unforeseen beings into a room with friends, family, enemies, adults she didn’t trust, and strangers to read about her life, could you really blame her for being fed up.

Summary
It was in the midst of that frigid winter that Helia learned. That the cold burned...and burned until it left all in its wake a dying husk of what it once was.
The streets iced, windows frosted over blocking the illusions of warmth behind them, and the cold seeped into everything and every being.
She wondered what the woodlands looked like during these freezing months?
Were they blacken wood of decaying trees, chilled winds that howled as the earth suffocated dying underneath the blanketed snow and ice? Or did the snow glisten and glitter as the sunbeams hit just right between the sleeping trees, as snowflakes danced with the winter winds a timeless dance continued all winter long.
She must be losing her mind for wanting to see it for herself and that maybe, just maybe winter might be more forgiving if she was surrounded by nature instead of the lifeless concrete of civilization.
Would she learn to live with this frozen ice in her veins? Or when the sun finally comes out, would she to melt away to nothingness no longer able to belong in that warm light?
All she knew was in that stillness of the silent cold, he was the only one that she could hear. To her surprise he could hear as well.

Summary
The Valyrian Gods are upset that the Long Night destroyed the world. The House of Dragons was on its last legs. Their champion too weakened to effectively fight and win. They decide they must go back to the beginning and stop the Dance of the Dragons.
They tried sending warnings to Viserys with dreams about a son so he knows to prevent it but he misunderstands. They tried sending dreams to Rhaenyra and this time they show everything that is to come. It doesn’t bode well for the young princess, too overwhelmed and confused, she ends up labeled mad. Even when Daemon is sent dreams alongside Rhaenyra, the King keeps siding with their enemies and weakening their House.
They decide Viserys is the problem, he cannot become King. They send dreams to a young Aemma. They know now to send only bits of information at a time. Aemma, the blue dragon who never got the chance to feel her own fire. From her line comes the ‘Heir That Was Promised’.

At Driftmark Aemond loses his eye, but gains a dragon. While losing an eye sucks, Aemond doesn't really regret claiming Vhagar, only Vhagar isn't the only thing he has gained. The trauma and pain caused by the experience led Aemond to unlocking his hidden memories of a past life.
AKA Zuko reincarnates as Aemond and regains his memories at Driftmark, because I can't help but notice the similarities between these two and wonder how they ended up so different by the end of their respective series.

Summary
Daemon will ensure that Rhaenyra becomes Queen no matter the consequences. He owes it to his niece. The Fourteen Flames have given him a chance to change their fate, and Daemon will make the best use of it, starting by changing the way he interacts with his family. They need to be united, or they will fail.
Or.
Daemon goes back in time/receives a vision from the Gods, and starts a campaign to crown Rhaenyra as Queen. Half by design, and half by mistake, the Rogue Prince creates a harem for himself, but he one hundred percent insists it's actually his wife's harem. Rhaenyra learns to share. Laena is happy to be in the center of the chaos. Harwin is living his best life. And Laenor curses the day he became Daemon's squire, as he is now neck deep in politics, and he hates it.
Viserys pouts.
Alicent cries at the injustice of it all.
