Summary
Twenty-five years ago, the lover of a powerful witch and feared necromancer was killed by the king’s guard in an act of rebellion. The king believed that the witch wouldn’t dare harm his people and that the act was enough to scare the witch away. In a fit of grief and rage, the witch cursed the king, his people and his land with endless illness, famine and conflict. The only way the curse could be broken was if the reincarnation of the witch’s lover was returned to them.
People searched for the land for any signs of the person they were searching for to break the curse. Other powerful witches were recruited to help keep the curse at bay and to find another way to break it. No matter what the people or the other witches tried, nothing seemed to be working and it appeared as though the curse would never be broken.
Until a young witch appears out of nowhere.

For some reason, and it could be because of curiosity and excitement, pearl joined in with the chanting of her name.

It took sometime, it made pearl think that she might not get the chance to see this so called 'gem'
But in less than three minutes or so, gem stepped out.

Though now that they were nearing their late thirties early forties, and freshly remarried to their lovely partner Pearl. They had thought that their life was finally getting on track, and that they could finally have piece. Though of course, when Scott Goldsmith, a long time friend of theirs from their days at uni had decided to call them at seven-thirty at night. They knew that piece would never come. Ever.
