The pen in his hand moves across the paper once, then twice, even pressing into the surface the third time, but still no words form in ink. Exhaustion clings to his hunched-over form, elbows nearing the edge of the desk where the lamp flickers teasingly to his left, taunting him not only of the hour, but that his focus was lost hours ago.
A deep-set sigh releases from his chest, even bringing the wheely chair an inch or so forward to focus on the sheet, but his knees tap the underside of the desk, alerting him that he’s hit his limit, both physically and metaphorically. Sparing a glance over his shoulder and then around the room, he takes in the hastily made bed, as well as the basket of laundry that still needed to be folded and put away. He hadn’t even closed the bedroom door over fully, the light from the hall trickling inside to skate across the hardwood floor, lapping at his ankles. Briefly, he tries to glimpse down the hall, looking to catch sight of you moving around the apartment, yet everything remains still.

16-year-old Nate Tenıyman discovers the Omnitrix in Midvale. After his best friend is murdered, Nate uses his new "Omni-shift" power to bring the killer—a corrupt Sheriff—to justice. This event alerts his DEO agent father, who relocates Nate and his newly-powered quadruplet siblings (Anissa, Bella, Calvin) to National City.
Meanwhile, Courtney Whitmore moves to the city and discovers the Chaos Staff. She learns her father, the hero chaosman, was murdered 10 years prior during Vandal Savage's ISA massacre of the JSA. As "chaosgirl," she and Pat Dugan recruit a New JSA, mentored by the four surviving JSA legends (Ted Grant, Jay Garrick, Kent Nelson, Carter Hall).
Nate's "Omni-shift" team and Courtney's "New JSA" initially clash while investigating the ISA's "New America Project." They are forced to unite when they discover the ISA is secretly aided by the time-traveling warlord Eon, who is obsessed with capturing Nate's Omnitrix.
The combined team trains under the JSA legends. In the finale, they successfully stop the "New America Project" and defeat the ISA's core roster, but Vandal Savage and Eon escape. The season ends as a new pod crashes, revealing Unis, who calls the Tenıyman siblings "brother."Series
