She closed the door on him with a note to delay her sympathy till the end of the work day. By which time, as expected, Ayato had found his way back into his sister’s shadow.
Chiori took Ayato out to dinner. “You’re rightfully terrible at enjoying yourself,” she told him, and he laughed at her, and did not disagree.
Chiori meets Ayato and Ayaka for the first time in years.

Ei’s perception was limited in the Plane of Euthymia. She saw through the Shogun’s eyes: the bridge of Ayato’s nose, the corner of his downturned lips.
She watched on, in despair, as the Shogun stumbled into Ayato’s path. She said, stilted, “I’m glad to see that you are in good health.”
Ayato looked back at the Shogun with eyes larger than Ei had ever seen on him. “Your Excellency,” he murmured, “Thank you for the inquiry into my well-being. Please excuse me.”
He bowed. He left, his steps quick.
The Shogun stood at the steps of Tenshukaku for a brief moment before she turned back and headed inside.Ei's observance of the Shogun and Ayato. (Miko bears witness with delight.)

Ayato coughed. “Lady Hiiragi, that is quite an accusation!”
Chisato sniffed. “I don’t know any man who doesn’t have an appreciation for the Guuji Yae’s assets.” She patted her fiance’s thigh. “Even Kamaji-”
“Chisato,” Kamaji hissed, face aflame.
Ayato laughed. “The Guuji Yae is certainly attractive. Alas, I suspect she’s rather sweet on the Raiden Shogun. Perhaps you’d fare a better chance than me if you are eyeing her bed, Chisato.”
She giggled. “I’m sure it’d be Kamaji’s dream come true.”Kujou Kamaji and Hiiragi Chisato try their best to charm their way into Ayato's pants.
Ayato began to get a nagging suspicion. “Are you both proposing to set me up with someone?”

No one stopped Collei from asking after Zandik. The Gandharva Ville residents assumed she was trying to avoid him, and regularly marked out, to her, his general vicinity. She stalked him to reassure herself that she was quieter.
Il Dottore's son (Zandik) was here in Gandharva Ville and Collei despied him greatly. (They have some common ground: they're both big fans of Tighnari.)
“If I ingest an aphrodisiac,” Zandik said, “And prostated myself at Tighnari’s feet, do you think he’d have sex with me as a medical procedure?”
“He’d lock you in a room and ask you to wait it out,” Collei said. “I’m telling Master Tighnari that you spoke about drugs.”

Summary
They make a spectacle on the landing deck on the Scions of the Canopy. Ajaw flung himself to the floor immediately, and everyone ogled him, either because artists’ renditions of what him as a human had already made their rounds; or because Kinich had a passenger.
Kinich, adept at managing the peanut gallery, chose to ignore the stares. Ajaw looked distinctly more uncomfortable, and he was turning something more reminiscent of his former body (a sickly shade of green.)
“All that swinging made me nauseous,” Ajaw groans. “I’m walking the way down.” He said in a tone of voice that challenged Kinich to take any other direction. Kinich was tempted, but perhaps there was a little bit of a sadistic part in Kinich that had enjoyed Ajaw clinging onto him for once like he was a lifeline.Ajaw's bout as a human leads to some interesting affects.
