Summary
Polyamory was a relatively new development in the world of nobility, but when the emperor was looking to add another consort to his flock, it was Quackity’s job to ensure that Schlatt was the one chosen for the position. As the duke of one of the four major duchies of the Antarctic Empire, Schlatt was a political powerhouse for sure, and Quackity couldn’t be more proud of his protector. All they had to do was get through the consort trials and then Schlatt would be in, and Quackity could continue to support his partner from the shadows, where he could be safe and protected.
Of course, there is a chance the plan devolved almost immediately upon execution, and Quackity found himself getting far more contact with the royal flock and the other consort candidates than he ever could have expected.
THE SHORT OF IT: A Fantasy/Royalty AU that features unconventional A/B/O dynamics, political worldbuilding, a heavy emphasis on trauma recovery and found family dynamics, and soap-opera levels of non-communication. And also, there’s romance. See forenotes for more details.

Summary
Jack had never considered a future where he was released from slavery, where he could have a proper pack and be a free hybrid in the Antarctic Empire. When he followed Duke Quackity out of that terrible warehouse, there hadn’t been much going through his mind other than the desire to look after Tubbo. He never thought he’d have to figure out how to be something more than a tool or possession.
He did though, one step at a time, and maybe he gained protectors along the way. Maybe he built a pack while managing the trials that came with being connected to the royal family.
He was just- doing his best. It was all he’d ever done.

Summary
Sneeg was a man of simple needs. In Hypixel – a country that treated hybrids like second class citizens at best – he’d learned to keep his expectations low. He was happy with the life he’d built in a distant corner of the kingdom. There was comfort in routine. Disrupted routines meant complications, and nothing good came from those.
When Sneeg found a hybrid passed out in the river, he should have looked the other way. Especially when he saw that it was mob hybrid, but then Sneeg realized that it was a blaze hybrid in the river – someone that could keep his pups warm during the winter, who could keep his brother from getting sick.
There was no reason for Sneeg to turn them in, not when they could both benefit, right?
THE SHORT OF IT: Sequel to ‘See How Bright You Burn’, a Fantasy/Royalty AU that features unconventional A/B/O dynamics, political worldbuilding, a heavy emphasis on trauma recovery and found family dynamics, and soap-opera levels of non-communication. And also, there’s romance. See forenotes for more details.

Summary
It wasn’t easy being a young duke in the Antarctic Empire, but Sam had Eret to show him the ropes, to guide him through the trials and tribulations of supporting a young emperor and leading the upper nobility of their home. Through it all, one thing seemed to be constant – Eret would always be there, and Sam would always support him in turn. This seemed to be an unquestionable inevitability.
At least, until it wasn’t.
THE SHORT OF IT: The life and times of Sam and Eret, a Fantasy/Royalty AU that features non-traditional A/B/O dynamics, political worldbuilding, a heavy emphasis on trauma recovery and found family dynamics, and soap-opera levels of non-communication. And also, there’s romance. See forenotes of ‘One Long Season of Waiting’ for more details because I’m not writing all that out twice, lol.

Summary
They were supposed to find peace again after the war. Instead, Jack gets kidnapped, George was stuck in a coma, and Sapnap felt further from Dream than ever.
Sapnap does his best to support his family, but he can’t help but feel like he’s jogging in place, stuck while the rest of the world moves on. He searches for Jack, he waits for George, and then-
And then he meets Karl.
For Ant, the turbulent political atmosphere of the capital might be too much for him to carry – with constant changes and the threat of a decades-long secret coming to light, he has to focus simply on putting one foot in front of the other. He didn’t have time for paltry things like romance, no matter what his instincts might say.
But he can only ignore himself for so long, and he’s spent too many years denying his desires. When his emotional state is vulnerable, there’s no telling what he might let slip.
Sequel/Companion Piece to ‘We Pray That the World Isn’t dying’ and ‘Circles in the Sand’
THE SHORT OF IT: A Fantasy/Royalty AU that features unconventional A/B/O dynamics, political worldbuilding, a heavy emphasis on trauma recovery and found family dynamics, and soap-opera levels of non-communication.

Summary
When the teleportation rune landed them in an unknown territory, Sam was prepared to improvise. He’d come too far, after all, to let Eret slip from his grasp before he got the answers for which he’d been so desperately searching. It didn’t matter all that much anyway, all he had to do was buy enough time for Lindsay and Marquess Manifold’s workers to track them down to the new location.
Except things seem to go off the rails almost immediately, and returning home wasn't as easy a task as simply activating the correct teleportation rune.
For better or worse, he and Eret were stuck, leaving Sam with limited options on how to move forward. He wasn’t sure if it helped that they were now surrounded by genius outcasts as they tried to find their way home, but whatever happened, he would protect his family.

Summary
George was doing his best.
He’d fallen into a coma while their empire was in the middle of a war and woken to find that said war was over, the bearer that he’d thought was a peacekeeper had been kidnapped, his father was dead, and one of his closest friends had gone feral. Now he’s neck deep in noble politics as he’s shoved into the role of young duke for a family that actively despises him, trying to honor a legacy he didn’t actually want while repairing what was left of his support structure when all of them seem more than eager to move on.
But if George was anything, it was a survivor, and he hadn’t come this far just to give up when things had gotten difficult. He was going to honor Eret’s legacy, or he would die trying.
Sequel/Companion Piece to ‘Stars, I Trust’ and ‘From Under a Layer of Frost’.
THE SHORT OF IT: A Fantasy/Royalty AU that features unconventional A/B/O dynamics, political worldbuilding, a heavy emphasis on trauma recovery and found family dynamics, and soap-opera levels of non-communication. See forenotes for more details.
