“Oh my god, Tommy,” someone gasped upon the sight of him- something Tommy himself hadn’t even seen yet. Immediately, he could recognize that the voice belonged to his best friend and confidant, Tubbo. He mustered up all the energy he could to turn his head back over to look straight at them.
Niki was the other person next to him, looking at Tommy’s body with grim determination, “Tubbo, remember when you said you wanted to be a war doctor?”

September 20th, 2022. Xxx xxxxx police station. I’m Detective Sneeg here with Thomas Innit-Wastaken under confession of the ‘Smiley killings’.
“So,” the other man spoke up, “Eight confirmed kills. That’s a hefty number for a seventeen year old.”
He spoke so casually, as if he was talking about the weather, or a sports game.“So do you not believe me?”
“Well, we wouldn’t be in this room if they didn’t,” the detective replied smoothly.
“I don’t care about what the police department or whatever thinks. I’m asking if you think I’m innocent,” Tommy urged.
There was a moment where the man thought of a reply, and then he said, “Looking at you now, I do not think you did it.”

“Nnngh,” Was the only way he could describe how he felt. He barely even realized that he had groaned that out loud when Phil perked up from wherever he was.
“You awake?” He asked.
“We’re still down here,” Tommy replied instead, complaint overtaking his tone.
Phil chuckled, “Yea. Yea we are.”
It was then that the pinching feeling disappeared from his wrist, the same one that was the sole contact between him and Phil.
“What were you doing?” He asked.
“Checking your pulse,” Phil replied.

Or, Tommy gets trapped underneath a collapsed building after a hero-villain fight gone wrong. It just so happens that the notorious villain 'Angel of Death' is trapped there with him.

Wilbur snickered from where he was slumped over at his father’s shoulder, “Of course Quackity is starting shit. If anyone was going to attempt to combine two rival families and a human, it would be him.”
“This. . .certainly changes a lot of things,” Phil reflected.
“For better or for worse?” Tommy asked.
“I’m not sure yet,” Phil sighed, the family continued their journey, “But it looks like we have a wedding to go to.”
