Peter sighs and runs a hand through his hair. "Look, I'm always happy to meet fans and all, but I have stuff to do in the morning and I really need my mask, so—"
"What? Noooo, I told you that you can't leave yet!" the kid complains. "I have some movies we can watch, do you like Star Trek?"
"I prefer Star Wars," Peter replies, "but I'm not staying here to watch movies with you, we aren't friends."
"But I'm your biggest fan!"
"You hit me with a hammer and handcuffed me in your basement."

Or: A lonely kid just wants a friend, so he kidnaps Spider-Man. Much to his misfortune, Spider-Man is a high school student with a Spanish test he needs to study for.

Summary
There are so many things you don't appreciate until they are gone—breathing when you've got a stuffy nose, eating when you're hungry, walking when you're paralyzed.
For Peter, he never really appreciated looking out his window, or looking up while swinging around Queens, and being able to see the moon until it was stripped from him.
As he lies against the cool wall that gives him the only sense of relief to the pain lighting his entire body on fire, his wrists shackled together and one ankle chained to the wall, he just wants to be able to look up and see the moon again.

__Hydra kidnapped Peter Parker when he was three. Known only as the Variable, he grows up in the organization, learns their ways, and becomes something more than just human. Upon coming to the realization that Hydra isn't working for the greater good, he escapes and tries to audition for the Avengers. The problem is, they just won't take him seriously.

Summary
It's been two years since Doctor Strange casted the spell that erased Peter Parker from everyone's memories, and a lot has changed. Peter goes by Parker and lives in a homeless community. He hasn't put the mask on in a while, so the whole world presumes he's dead. Peter feels as though he might as well be dead.
But then Peter saves some people from a burning building, grabbing the attention of a blind lawyer who can sense when someone's in trouble. (Literally.)
