Summary
It’s in the middle of scanning the last bottle of green tea that Itadori properly looks up. Eye contact with him is a physical, unexpected shock, a crunch of imaginary static snapping through Megumi and leaving his hands twitching at his sides.
"Hey." Itadori blinks, wide and earnest. "Do I know you from somewhere?"
The tea sloshes backwards in the bottle he’s holding. Megumi focuses on this until his vision steadies.
"No," he says. "I don’t think so."
In the aftermath, Itadori loses his memories instead of his life. Megumi grieves nonetheless.

Vi notices that Caitlyn’s knee is touching hers now, that both of her long legs have snaked their way under her body and she’s sitting on her heels. This position gives her a little more height over Vi, not that she needed it before, and it’s giving Vi an amazing view of Caitlyn’s top half. Vi closes her eyes again so as not to stare. She will not allow herself to ruin this sentimental moment with how turned on she is.
“Let me take care of you, Violet.”

Summary
Satoru Gojo is working as a police officer in Seattle WA, diligently training to become a detective while taking care of two young kids, his cousins, Megumi and Tsumiki. While out one evening, he spots him, Suguru Geto, one of the most wanted criminals in the country. Responsible for mass murder and a laundry list of other crimes, Satoru knows he must follow him and bring him to justice, but before he can fully confirm his identity, he is thrown into chaos alongside this killer. Forced to work together to stay alive, Satoru wonders if the man he is with is different from what they say but he also fears that if he lets down his guard, he will end up with a knife in his back.

Vi’s brow furrows. “How so?” She can’t keep the question at bay.
Cassandra looks down at her tea. “To put it simply, she refused to pose. He never saw her face.”
Vi sits up a little straighter, concern tightening her muscles.
“Why won’t she be painted, exactly?” The image of the smudged face barrages her, filling her vision with blue and gold.
“She refuses this marriage,” she replies sternly, lines etched along her brow. Cassandra glances up to her own wedding portrait before meeting Vi’s gaze again. “You must paint her without her knowing.”
