Somehow, they still manage to cross paths, courtesy of a small bar in Southern Ontario and a beat-up old van. Fate's funny that way.

"Shall we release them now?" the person asked, and Logan nodded shortly. The person walked over to the cage and folded the blanket back on the side facing Logan. Then they bowed down to open a small opening in the cage.
Logan's eyes widened
"Oh, Wolvie," Wade mumbled. "What have you–"
Then he stopped talking because something entirely unthinkable happened.
Because out of the cage patted three very cute and very fluffy puppies. When they saw Logan, they barked happily before running to him and jumping up.
And Logan knelt down and opened his arms to catch them. His face broke up into the happiest, most candid smile that Wade had ever seen, and he closed his eyes and leaned into the touch, when one of the puppies shoved its nose up against his.
"What the fuuuck," it escaped Wade's lips.

What happens if Wade finds out that Logan really, really likes dogs and decides to blackmail him a little with it, y'know, just for fun?

Logan knew Wade didn’t want him, and yet late at night, when Wade’s arm was splayed out over Logan’s chest and his leg was tucked up over his own, as the bed that Wade had insisted they share creaked under their combined weight, Logan was so sure he did.
