During those years Tommy found comfort on the internet, talk to one another about meeting up someday, but Tommy would always fall silent when the conversation came up.

Summary
Tommy would have been lying if he said he wasn’t jealous on the day of Wilbur’s 15th birthday. In fact, he was so upset that he cried about it, alone in his room. He knew he shouldn't have been crying, he was a big boy now. But at the age of ten, he has never felt so alone before.
Maybe he felt that way because neither Phil nor Wil wished him a happy birthday. Or maybe it was because he didn’t get any special gifts. Maybe he was upset because he didn’t feel noticed by those he looked up to his whole life. Or maybe he was just upset because no one helped him mourn the loss of his mother. Maybe it was because he felt like he didn't have a father, or maybe he just didn't have a family. Tommy didn’t know which one it was.
But he knew that he would never forget that day, because eventually it became a continuous cycle. No one would wish him a happy birthday again until they realized it was too late.

Ever since Kristin died, the royal family has never been the same. Tommy has been neglected and feels replaced by Techno, who is taken in.

Wilbur Soot, one of the workers there, becomes fast friends with the boy and begins to find out everything he didn't want to know about his favorite library patron.

"Phil knew something had gone wrong when Techno still wasn’t home as the clock neared five in the morning. No matter what they argued about before, he was always back before five.
The reason why he wouldn’t be is that something happened to him."
On the other side of the city, Techno is thrown in the back of a car. He won't wake up until they get to the building. And Phil won't learn what exactly happened to him until dawn breaks and they go and search for him—finding only a singular bloodstained emerald earring hanging on a tree. A sign left for them and only them.
Thing is, Phil wasn't the head of the largest mafia in the city for nothing. He won't rest until he gets his boy back.
Heaven help those who try and stop him.

Summary
The night Tommy disappeared, it went like this:
Tubbo screamed the words that became his goodbye. He can’t accept that Tommy is gone, because that would be accepting that the last words they exchanged were angry and intended to hurt. So he doesn’t accept it. He’ll search for years if he has to.
Techno let Tommy leave without so much as trying to stop him. He’s replayed the memory of that night and wished he’d done anything else, until he thinks the guilt might be enough to destroy him. He thinks he might already be on his way there.
And Quackity can’t help but feel like this is all just a bitter echo. This town is cursed, and Tommy is only its latest victim.

Or, Techno, Wilbur, and Tommy are basically chaotic forces of nature, destined from birth to end the world and bring destruction. Most who hear of the tale of them are trying their best to track them down, and to end the monsters while they’re still young, still just children.
Phil has a different plan.
(In which Phil raises the minecraft equivalents of the anti-christ with love and support, so much so to the point where the world ending is really just a funny thought, and Phil has three kids who casually have powers that are bit more extreme than anything else in the world)
