Summary
Jango Fett didn't mean to restart the Mandalorian Empire. He just kept accidentally acquiring planets after their leaders proved too corrupt to leave in place. Nobody told the Republic that (or if they did, they didn't believe it), so they decide to send a tribute to the Warlord.
Obi-Wan Kenobi, freshly knighted Jedi with a Padawan adopted in the heat of the moment, is chosen to sate the Warlord's desire for conquest. He's not happy about it, but when the senate sends him he must go. Fortunately, the unreasonably pretty warlord seems to mainly want him to do paperwork.
And Jango Fett might just save the Galaxy for his gorgeous new Jedi assistant and his adorable feral murder child.

Paz Vizsla has to sacrifice his first solo mission and take the newest addition to the Covert along instead. Who's this Din Djarin guy anyway?
“Do you kneel, or eat your insult?”
It takes Paz a second to get it, and when he does he chuckles weakly, unsure how serious the man is. Who knows what offends him? Belatedly, Paz answers: “Er, which one would you rather have?”
Settling back on his chair, Djarin gives him a very obvious once-over, and answers in that same composed voice: “The former, I think.” -

Pale gold eyes watch him quietly, but there’s no sneering malice, no delighted calculation. If anything, he looks… tired. Preoccupied. As if Jango is more of a trial to pass than a helpless prisoner to toy with.

When a Jedi artifact sends Din somewhere else the poor man is disoriented and confused. He has no idea what’s going on or why the lights were suddenly so bright. He plans on keeping a low profile and scouting out this new place until he hears the sound of a young voice crying out in pain. Harsh words that should never be spoken to a child follow the sound of another blow and Din can’t help but to intervene.

Summary

Summary
Din Djarin doesn't know how to politic, or how to human, really. So he does his own thing, and somehow, it gets him places.
There is no Din shipping here. It might seem like there is, but there really is none. He's got friends, he's good, thanks. And found family, just to make it harder for him to take a damn nap.In short: how throughout the years of his reign the Mand'alor Din Djarin somehow not only manages to not die, but also makes the Outer Rim folks get along. In a true Djarin fashion, he achieves that through the power of not giving a fuck, and being a generally nice guy that incidentally has far more power than he'd like.
