Summary
Five years into his reign, Arthur faces a magical curse that spells doom for Camelot. Desperate to save his people, Arthur reaches out to Emrys for aid— and is stunned when the great sorcerer arrives in person. Emrys is mysterious and irreverent, refusing to even show his face and instead keeping it always obscured by a magical cloak of shadows. But as they work together to fight back against the growing curse, Arthur finds himself drawn to the sorcerer for reasons that feel far too familiar. This is such an interesting premise! I love the tension of who will figure it out first and how the reveal will happen. Poor Arthur is being put through it but it’s so fun to read.
Am I an emotional mess after this? Yes. Would I go right back in and start again? Also yes.
