Summary
Sometimes, Cub wondered how he'd stumbled his way here. His best friend of fifteen years, since they met as college freshmen and randomized roommates, was a high-flying superhero. As for him? He found his guy-in-the-chair duties to be pretty fulfilling. If they kept Scar from having to deal with the biotech institute ever again, well, it would be worth it. The council also forked over a pretty big check every month to ensure Hot Guy stayed happy, and Cub, being the one and only employee of the local hero's tech lab, got a good cut. That wasn't the point, though, of course, and it never was. It had been such bad luck, really, or maybe good fortune? Depended how you looked at it.
Cub was nearly blind, though, so looking wasn't exactly his strong suit. But do you need someone to listen? He could certainly be all ears.{In which Cub pretty much constantly has a headache, Scar flubs his dual identity situation by no fault of his own, and it's a shame, isn't it? Secrets are such finicky things.}

Description:This is a compilation of all the pieces that take place within my Over-City/Under-City AU, which is also a Hot Guy/Cute Guy Superhero AU, though that's not the only thing that'll be going on! I plan to keep this series in chronological order, so I'll put all the pieces where they'd fall along the timeline, which may sometimes not line up with the publishing date. The exception to this is 'Pretty Boy' which, IF someone does want to read the whole series in order, I'd want them to have read that one first and then all the rest, so 'Pretty Boy' will always be the first fic in the line-up, but after that you could read chronologically or just bounce around as you please! I've written all of these to mostly stand-alone, so you shouldn't be too terribly confused no matter where you decide to start up!

ive rerwad this a few times now, n on my forst resd i didnt fully realize cub was a mutant till the end,,,, thought smth was up but did not connect the dots till the reveal. going back to reread and seeing all the litttle hints and nods to it is so nice
love the warden!cub, esp how its written here <33 actually feel so seen with how the sound issues are written here, so nice to see from one of my fav aus
