Chapter 1: Tag, You're It
When Kyle was playing basketball, he was completely focused. Everyone wanted to win, but no one quite as much as Kyle did. He had been ambitious and driven ever since he was a child, and his fiery temper added two things to the mix; he hated losing and he was playing aggressive. When he got into competitive basketball, he was only putting in even more effort than before. He was training every day, not only to get better, but also to let off steam and to get rid of energy.
Since he first joined the basketball team in elementary school he got a little better with each year. By the time they all got into highschool, Kyle was so good that he became the basketball captain. Being captain, of course, he only took his game even more seriously.
Today was no exception. He was huffing exhausted when they finally made it to the halftime, sitting down on the bench between Clyde and Tolkien and reaching for his bottle of water. Sweat was running down his neck and he redid his short ponytail because quite a few of his curls had escaped and were hanging into his face now. He sighed and looked up at the current score, a proud smile making it's way onto his face because they were currently leading.
"Oh my god"
He and Clyde turned to look at Tolkien, who cringed and pointed at the bleachers in the general direction of their friends. As at every important game, all of them were there, but today Kenny had brought a sign to cheer on them. Kyle squinted when he tried to read it, cringing as well when he realized that Kenny's sign said: Entire South Park Cows Basketball team, I want a child from you! Clyde just started laughing like a maniac.
They got back to playing once the break was over, and as soon as he was on the court, Kyle was back in the zone. They were leading right now, but they couldn't relax just yet; their opponent would immediately take the chance to get the upper hand. Their old rival, the North Park Bulls, were dead set on leaving this gym victorious, and they were tough too. But so were the Cows. After the nervewrecking second half of the game, the visitors from North Park were sighing in dissapointment while the half of the bleachers reserved for South Park were cheering loudly, happily shouting profanities at their defeated rivals.
The team happily jogged off of the court to change back and shower, congratulating each other on the way. After they were clean and wore fresh clothes again, Clyde, Kyle and Tolkien met up with their friends outside.
"That was awesome guys!" Kenny was the first to say, excitedly pumping his fist into the air. Cartman huffed amused. "Yeah, especially how you showed those North Park assholes." He said. Even Craig showed a teeny tiny bit of joy about their victory.
"What was that sign about though?" Tolkien asked, pointing at the sign in question, leaning against Kenny's leg. The blonde looked down at it for a moment before smiling. "Oh that? I thought, if Cartman's mom can sleep with the entire team of the 1989 Denver Broncos, then why can't I sleep with the entire team of-"
"No" Stan stopped him, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Don't even think about finishing that sentence, Kenny." He said.
"Well, I don't know about you guys, but I'm starving" Clyde changed the subject. "We still off to KFC?"
"You bet" Was Cartman's immediate reply.

The boys had an awesome time together, talking and joking around at the KFC. After all, as important as basketball was for Kyle, it wasn't his entire life. He still had his friends and his family, and he also still loved school. After celebrating South Park's victory, they all went home.
Kyle put in his headphones as he walked back home, closing his jacket because of the evening chill. His parents hadn't been at the game because Ike was getting yet another award, so they were in Denver for a few days. Kyle was really proud of his little brother, but sometimes he just wished his parents would give him the same kind of attention. That they'd be as proud of him as they were of Ike. But that was hard even for a model student like Kyle if you're always being compared to someone who was a genius since preschool. But at least that made it easier for him to fly under the radar when he and his friends were up to no good again.
Maybe he shouldn't have chosen to listen to music that night. Maybe then he would have heard the steps approaching him. Or maybe he wouldn't have. The person following him was stealthy. Then again, how should he have known that the decision to listen to music would end up having such heavy consequences?
The person who was following him reached around him, covering his nose and mouth with a soaked handkerchief. Kyle widened his eyes and immediately struggled, inhaling quickly in his panic even though the most logical thing would have been not to inhale whatever this handkerchief was soaked with.
The person behind him kicked the back of his knees to get him to stop struggling temporarily, immediately pushing him down. Kyle was slowly starting to get dizzy, which made fighting back even harder. He began to lose consciousness, eyes slowly drifting shut. He tried to fight, but after inhaling the chemical there was no fight left in him. The concrete beneath him was the last thing he saw before everything went black.

Kyle groaned when he woke up again. Every joint was aching and he still felt dizzy. He realized that he had a terrible headache when he blinked his eyes open, taking in his surroundings. It was pretty dark, the blinds closed, only one lamp turned on. He was tied to a surprisingly comfortable chair in a surprisingly pretty room. But he couldn't really appreciate the stylish interior of the room he was being held captive in when there was a girl sitting in front of him, staring at him with a broad smile. "You're awake!" She exclaimed.
"W-who are you? Where am I?!" He asked, looking around in panic.
"Shh, shh... calm down sweetheart!" The girl said. She wasn't too tall, had dark brown hair and brown green eyes. Everything about her gave Kyle the chills. Her tone, the crazy look in her eyes and especially that she called him sweetheart. "Everything is fine now." She said, coming closer. She gently caressed his cheek, the touch of her hand only making Kyle even more nervous.
"Who are you?" He repeated, frowning up at her. Her smiled widened. "The love of your life."
"What the-"
"Shh shh shh shh shhhh!" She interrupted him, pressing her finger to his lips. "There's no need to worry, my love. Not anymore. You're home now..." She said. "We'll be happy forever now, Kyle." She said.
His chest tightened and he looked up at her in fright. He struggled against his ties, the palms of his hands looking upward, making her giggle. "There's no need to try and escape, angel. I'll do everything for you from now on! There's no reason for you to ever leave our house again!" She said.
With every word she said Kyle's dread only increased. "Just tell me what's going on here!" He said. Again, she giggled. "Oh Kyle..." She said, sitting down on his lap, ignoring how he tensed up and putting her arms around him. "I've been enarmored with you since the day I've first saw you on the basketball court. I immediately knew that we're soulmates!" She said.
"Soulmates? I don't even know you! You kidnapped me!" Kyle replied angrily, but his voice shook with fear nonetheless. She just ignored the last part and giggled again. "Of course you know me. Dawn, from school, one class below you, silly."
He had no idea who that girl was. He might have seen her in the halls once or twice, but he certainly had never talked to her before, and he hadn't known her name either. "Let me go home" He demanded.
"But you are home!" Dawn said, gesturing around herself. "Isn't the house I bought for us pretty?" She asked.
He frowned as he looked around. Then he looked at the young girl before him again. "H-how did you get this house?" He asked.
"Inherited a fortune" She replied, shrugging.
"Are you living alone?"
"No, silly! I'm living with you!" She said, smiling and booping his nose. "But there isn't anyone else, in case you were wondering about that. No one's here to bother us, my love."
He was wondering how it was possible that this minor could seemingly live all on her own without anyone caring about it, and he was pretty sure that this particular girl should definitely be supervised, but that wasn't the most important question on his mind right now. "Untie me, right now or I'm calling the police" He said.
"Your phone is in the river, dear" Dawn said. "You won't need it anymore, anyway."
"This is sick! You are sick!" He exclaimed. She frowned angered. "That's no way to talk to your girlfriend, Kyle." She scolded him.
"You're not my girlfriend, you're my captor! You kidnapped me, you fucking psycho! Help! Help!" He yelled, hoping that someone outside could hear him. He couldn't see if there even was someone outside since all blinds were closed, but if she was going to the South Park High she had to live somewhere near the town, right?
Her frown deepened. "I see you still need some time to settle into your new home. Maybe you should sleep some more." She said. Before he could get another word in, she covered his nose and mouth with the handkerchief which she soaked in chloroform again, waiting the few minutes until he finally fell unconscious again.

"Good morning, my love!" Dawn greeted him when he woke up again. She was just rolling a wagon with a delicious looking breakfast into the room. "You've slept like an angel."
He coughed. "Fuck you, you cunt" He said.
"That's not how you should speak to your girlfriend, Kyle" She said. "Come on, I've made breakfast for you." She said, smiling and gesturing at the meal she prepared.
He frowned down at it. "I'm not eating anything you made" He said.
"You will if you don't want to starve" She said.
"Fuck. You." Kyle replied. She sighed and pouted. "Sweetheart, you need to eat something. You have to take care of yourself! And I made it with love" She said.
"And probably drugs" He replied.
"There's nothing in there except for food" She said. "Here, look" She said, taking a bite of the pancakes she made for him. Kyle narrowed his eyes as he watched her. "I'm still not eating that." He said. Her face twisted into a dark scowl again, like when he had tried to call for help yesterday. "Fine. You're going to get hungry sooner or later." She said, voice low.
She pushed the cart back into the kitchen, presumably, before returning to Kyle. She took a seat on the couch across from him, smiling sweetly and sighing wistfully. The way Dawn was staring at him right now, it wouldn't have been a surprise if her pupils would turn heartshaped any moment. "There's nothing in the world that's prettier than you. You are so... perfect" She said, reaching out to gently touch his cheek, as if she was afraid to break him if she wasn't careful.
"You could have just tried talking to me before going directly to kidnapping me, you know" Kyle replied, scowling. She moved to sit on his lap then, suddenly a lot more eager than a moment ago. "Oh, but I wanted you all for myself!" She said. "I couldn't endure seeing you surrounded by all those people every day, all of your friends and your family and those 'fans'... none of them love you as much as I do. Seeing you with them made me sick to the stomach." She said, running a hand through his curls. "It's much better now. Just you and me. Forever."
"People are gonna come looking for me" Kyle said.
"No they won't." Dawn said. "After I brought you to safety, I placed a suicide note in your room." She said. He widened his eyes. "You broke into my house?!"
"It was much easier since your parents and your brother are gone. Usually I always had to be sneaky when breaking in." She replied casually. Fear overtook him again as he imagined that this girl was in his house before, doing who knows what in his room, maybe even while he was asleep. "That's not- they'll realize that I didn't write this" He stuttered.
"It looks as if you wrote it" She said. "When your family comes back home today, they'll find the note in your room saying that you decided to end things by jumping from the bridge. Maybe, if they're lucky, they'll find your phone after I dumped it in the river. And that'll be it. No one will keep searching for you." She said, smiling lovingly. "So you don't have to worry, my love. No one will come and bother us ever again. We're finally free of them all." She said, her sickenly sweet tone sending a chill down his spine.
He was shaking now, he realized. He looked up at that girl still sitting on his lap, constantly touching his face or his hair while she looked at him with those wide open eyes. He wished he could push her off of him, get rid of her suffocating presence, but his hands were still tied firmly. "What do you want from me?" He asked, voice shaky.
"I just want you for myself, love" She said, her finger lingering over his lips. She leaned down then, kissing him without warning. He widened his eyes and tried to pull his head back, but Dawn entangled her fingers in his hair and pulled him back towards her. She moaned against his soft lips, forcing her tongue inside his mouth.
He took a deep breath when she finally pulled back, his eyes wide. "You're sick" He exclaimed as he was gasping for air. She made herself smaller so she could snuggle up against him, leaning her head against his shoulder. "You love me." She stated it like a fact. "You just don't know it yet."
He sighed and furrowed his brows, feeling how the dread and desperation was coiling in his stomach. "So what? You just want to keep me here forever?"
"Not just keep you here" She said, looking up at him again. "I want to live with you, sleep with you, eat with you... I just want all of you..." She said, taking a sniff of his clothes. "I love you so much that it hurts... I want to have you in every way possible." She said, smiling at him as she stood up. "Well, I don't know about you, but I would like some breakfast now." She said, leaving him alone. He sighed relieved when she was gone.
He began to struggle against his ties, calling for help again as well, but the ropes were tight and no one seemed to hear him. He supposed he would know if there was a house this size in South Park, aside from Tolkien's old house, so maybe she was living farther away after all.
Before he could find any way to escape his ties, Dawn came back again with a new cart. He widened his eyes when he spotted needles, tubes and alcohol swaps. She pushed up his sleeve and then seemingly searched for a vein before cleaning the spot with an alcohol swap. He didn't have time to say a word before she inserted the needle into his arm. He hissed at the sudden but short sensation of pain, looking down to see how his blood was flowing into one of the tubes. Once it was full Dawn pulled the needle out again, pushing a little cotton pad against the crook of his elbow for a moment. She didn't have the patience to wait long though, putting the bloody cotton pad aside instead of throwing it away.
"What are you-" He wanted to ask, but the question died on his tongue as he watched in horror how she took the tube and raised it to her lips to drink from it. Her eyes were rolling back when she tasted his blood, making a near moaning sound. She sucked at the tube as if she had been wandering the desert and was dying of thirst. She wasn't wasting a drop of his blood, even trying to push her tongue into the tube to lick it out. Once she got all of his blood she could get she put the tube away again, sitting down and sighing satisfied.
Kyle just stared at her wordlessly. He felt how the hairs on his arms stood up. She smiled at him. She got up and took the bloody cotton pad, looking at it lovingly. "I'm gonna keep that." She said. "If you'll excuse me now, I have to clean the equipment. But don't worry, dear. You won't have to miss me for long."
She leaned down to kiss him once more, and this time he could taste his own blood on her tongue. "We won't ever part again."
