    Summary

In which Wriothesley, owner of a wildlife rescue and sanctuary, rescues a weird-looking not-gopher in a pool, which leads him down a strange mystery involving a government conspiracy, an illegal smuggling ring, and a Iudex that has disappeared from the office, sending Fontaine in a frenzy. Little does he know, the missing Iudex Neuvillette is a lot closer to him than he realizes.

(All he has to do is look closer at the fluffy otter creature currently curled against his chest, shamelessly using his pecs as his pillow.)

    Summary

Childe is stunning. And he, too, wants exactly what Zhongli wants. Naivety doesn’t suit Zhongli; he’s an observer, a silent admirer of human nature and desires, but neither Childe’s desires nor his nature is quiet. They scream, cry out to be acknowledged, to push the line between them far behind the sweet, little flirt and intense stares, filling Zhongli with soaring heat.

The wave of jealousy had its root in a single fact: no matter what both of them have, Zhongli is the God of Contracts. Not for much longer, he hopes, but a valid contract shall be objective. The intervention of any side is forbidden. The contract stated that he is allowed to keep an eye on Tartaglia, but the fragile friendship between them already wobbles the borders of a fair deal.

A relationship? Intimacy? No. This shall be avoided at all costs.

Zhongli is desperate for a moment of intimacy with Childe. To avoid breaching the contract, he poses as someone else.

"Maybe... he's playing another prank?" Paimon wondered, only to wave her hands in her own defense when everyone parsed her a bemused glance. "Hey! You know how he is! Always pulling pranks to scare people for the heck of it..."

"But he is never malicious," Illuga assured. "Sure, he may have a strange sense of humour, but he is a good person at heart."

"That doesn't mean he can't be oblivious, though," Paimon argued, weak as it was.

An accident lands Flins in the ocean by his lighthouse, where his lantern keeps his flame safe, albeit unable to reform.

“Look, I don’t know much about you guys, but I always hear other humans whining about how they have to listen to their parents or their teachers or bosses or whatever.”

“Yes,” says Marinette, “but that’s…that’s different. Usually, when someone tells me to do something, I only do it if I want to. I can think about it, make a real decision. But this…it was like I didn’t even have time to think about it. Like I couldn’t resist, even if I wanted to. And if I did, it would have killed me.”

Adrien and Marinette swap bodies. Marinette does not have a good time.

    Summary

She couldn't remember anything. Not where she was going, where she'd been, why she was in this stairwell, or even her own name. But as she watched the blood pool at the base of the steps, she at least knew one thing for certain: the corpse was hers.

Getting used to being dead was going to have its growing pains.

“Well, unlucky lady,” Chat Noir greeted with a bow, “Can I get your name?”

“Didn’t we just talk about this? I told you, I don’t remember it.”

“And I told you,” he reminded, “that you can just pick whatever fits you best.”

Ladybug and Chat Noir may not remember who they once were, but at least the two lost souls can find comfort in each other's company. But as Ladybug starts uncovering more and more memories of her life, letting the past go doesn't seem as easy as Chat Noir claims it to be.
