Regulus finally runs away from home and needs a place to stay. Sirius offers to let him stay at his and Remus's flat. Remus hasn't been im such close proximity to the younger since their school days, and he finally realizes things about the boy that he didn't always notice.

"What, James, want to join?" Regulus asked.
And this was his opportunity, he realised. He took a moment to think about Sirius and tried to feel guilty. But he remembered what he'd done, and looked between those two, a very red —and hungry— Remus, and a mischievous Regulus, and shrugged.
"Okay" He said, and approached them both, taking Remus's face and bringing his lips to him.
