He’s too busy avoiding sleeping and walking around Wakafonte’s house and avoiding his friends to linger on it much anyway.
A night where Moe and Regect drag him to bed turns from helping a friend get some sleep into something a bit more panic inducing. And then they make the best of it after.

Wifies likes the ocean as much as any other person.
He just hates sand in his wings. And how sticky the sea breeze can be. And how much his wings drag him down when they get wet and waterlogged. And how it takes forever to dry out his feathers. And then getting bits of sand and seaweed out.
But he doesn't hate it!

Summary
"You look kind of tired, dude," Hummer says, voice quiet. His voice and the shifting colors of the TV (blue to teal to purple to yellow to orange to-) draw him in deeper to the lake of calm. He kind of feels like he's drowning in it.
"It's nice, huh? Sinking deeper into it? You seem pretty stressed. I know, I know, you went straight from drowning to looking for more clues. Need time to recoup. Good thing you have me, right?" Hummer murmurs, feeling as Wifies's head gets heavier, chin digging into his hand more and more.
The sound of static is so much louder now, it feels like it's in his brain. Filling it up and leaving no thoughts behind for anything but the colors and the calm. Most of Hummer's words go in one ear, out the other. But he does catch a few.
Sinking? He can do that. It's not like it's hard, with the colors right there, so bright and pretty and fading into each other.

The man gulped, nervously glancing toward Avery’s mate with a look reminiscent of someone silently seeking permission, before quickly looking at Avery again. “An aphrodisiac… specifically made for omegas.”

“Oh.” Avery took a moment to let that sink in, subsequently realizing that he, in fact, did not mishear it the first time. “Um,” Avery cleared his throat, suddenly feeling awkward. He couldn’t help but laugh at the situation as his mind started scrambling to find a solution to minimize whatever was brewing in the situation. “Is that what it was? I’m a beta, it can’t be that—”
As soon as Avery revealed his second gender, or lack thereof, the man instantly went pale, just as Derek’s hand tightened in his.
“—bad.” Just like that, seeing the man’s reaction made Avery feel even more anxious, brewing quietly in his stomach. Avery gulped, his back suddenly growing damp, and phew, was it just him, or was the weather becoming hotter than usual?
