Izuku narrowed his eyes, gently flicking at Tenya's temple. "Hey, not everyone runs off from their mentor in search of villains."

The easy back and forth with Izuku never got old. Ochaco always told Tenya he was too rigid, too strict. And maybe in many aspects he was. Having distinct lines drawn for rules, regiments, and training were essential to being a good hero. He needed to be in tip top shape and sometimes, being hard on yourself and others was necessary.
But years of friendship, working together, and late nights on patrol made the regimented parts of Tenya's life disappear around Izuku.

But when he opens the door, he finds Bakugo Katsuki standing at the other side of it with a similar surprised expression. Which is weird considering he's the one who decided to pay Izuku a visit.
